Dwayne first started combat sports when he was 14 years old when he was introduced to Olympic style wrestling in the United States at Riverside High School, New Jersey.

Dwayne became a professional Mixed Martial Artist (MMA) fighter in 2008. He lost his first fight but since then has won 11 fights in a row, 10 of those coming by stoppage and 9 of those being in the first round.


As of June 1st, 2013 Dwayne is now ranked 171 in the world according to and number 8 in the world in undefeated fighters. does not recognize Dwayne's only loss because the organization he fought for never officially recorded it.

Dwayne will continue to chase his dream of reaching the UFC and continue to grow as a martial artist. Right now Dwayne is preparing for his 2nd Pan-American Sambo competition and hopes to retain the Gold medal he captured at the 2012 Pan-American Sambo Championship.
